Sedilmare was founded in the mid-80s based on an idea by the current CEO, Giacomo Nardiello, as a company producing seats for the nautical sector. However, thanks to the entrepreneurial spirit of the founder, the decision was soon made to expand production, a choice rewarded by constant and progressive company growth. Initially, this included designing a complete range of sun canopies, from traditional aluminum models to the more prestigious stainless steel models (among these, the famous Ulisse canopy stands out, sold throughout Europe and widely imitated, even though it is patented). The company then moved on to producing custom canopies for major boat and dinghy manufacturers. Along with the production line, further enriched by the creation of new models of canopies, T-TOPs, boarding ladders, and exhaust risers for marine engines in AISI 316L stainless steel, Sedilmare also became known in the recreational boating market as a distributor of nautical accessories and marine engine spare parts. Thanks to its constant presence at national and international trade fairs and a strong network of agents, it has grown to cover the entire national territory, with significant presences in several European countries. Over the past twenty years, Sedilmare has significantly expanded its range of nautical products through partnerships with major international brands such as Navico (Lowrance, Simrad, and B&G), Recambios Marinos, Aqua Marina, Perko, Lectrotab, and Turning Point propellers.
